Subject: WHAT THE HELLS WRONG WITH THE US?????

I have wondered about this for years!!!!

Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with

all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors,

Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,???????????

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti,

Chile, and Turkey. And now Pakistan.....

home of bin Laden.

Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a ' fixed income'

receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while

our government and religious organizations

pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons

of Food to Foreign Countries!

We have hundreds of adoptable children who

are shoved aside to make room for the adoption

of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless

without shelter, children going to bed hungry,

elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally

ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET.....................

They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on

12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with

food, water , tents clothes, bedding, doctors and

medical supplies .

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US'

citizens the same support they give to other countries .

Sad isn't it?

99% of people won't have the guts to forward this.

I'm not sure about that. All the words are spelled correctly, but the overuse of exclamation marks with no real ideas about how to fix the problem definitely makes it seem like it came from a Republican.

The funny thing is, I get e-mails like this ALL THE TIME but some amateurish hack has altered it to look Canadian. Of it was originally Swiss but someone slapped a graphic of a crying Eagle on it and changed all the references to America.

So you'll get stuff like.

"For too long America has let foreigners come in by the millions who make no attempt to learn English, care nothing for our traditions and culture, and despise us for the very freedoms they came here to escape. Let's send a message to Parliament this summer ....."

Or

"I'm so sick of how this country is going. We were once the greatest nation on Earth, a pillar of freedom and Democracy for our allies and the walking talking fear of God to our enemies. Now we've gone soft and pathetic from the shores of New Jersey to the border with Pakistan... well this Aussie isn't gonna take it any more"

I LOVE when there's a slip up where you can see where everyone who forward sit just adds their own pet peeve into it. I wish I could link to one but... who would save those things?

I guess not. They are being sensitive to Seniors and children. Talking about helping out people. And the Tea partiers don't like helping others only themselves. Remember they are the ones who have signs saying "keep your government out of my Medicare."
