    Tomorrow's referendum on Obama

The following is my opinion only. If you do not like it I do not particularly care.

    Let's face reality, shall we?

Tomorrow's election has turned into nothing more than a contest as to whether or not you approve of the president, and there is a lot to not approve of. Whilst he did manage to pass a health care bill, whether it is his fault or not the economy remains stagnant and poor, unemployment is up, and folks are still losing their homes.

Conversely, the Republicans have put together a year of campaigning based on little more than the fact they claim they are not Democrats. With no real plan put forth, nothing to expect they will do anything different than the Democrats, the Republicans have managed to sell the American public on having nothing to offer.

So what will really change tomorrow?

The Republicans will win the House, possibly the Senate, big whoop. Now if their first order of business is to repeal the health care bill, they will have, in my wise opinion, reduced themselves to the level of the Democrats in promoting off topic crap, of failing to address the ills of this country.

The health care bill, which I do not approve it, should hardly be the first priority of the GOP as reforming health care should not have been the first priority of Democratic Party.

If the Republicans spend the next two years fiddle fartin' around with this then they will have successfully been as ineffectual as the proceeding Congress. How about both parties put aside stupid minutia and for once actaully work together on getting the economy back on track?

For the most part.....(after "Conversely").....I like it!
I disagree that "there is a lot to not approve of" when referring to Obama so far..... & would change it to "There are some things to not approve of"....& I think the HC law is a much needed start towards important hc reform.
    Other than that...I like it!
He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.
