Are they going after Michelle? Look...she's the only face left with integrity! She is our First Lady and commands that respect, who cares if she's in Spain.

It's her job to be the face of this nation concerning certain issues, she needs to strike out, to explore the world and it's appropriate for her Daughter to be there. Repub brothers, let this be, Michelle is First Lady, allow her to be one.

I'm agreeing with your incompetent Tim Kaine here, he's a moron...and he's playing politics as well here but...he's right.

There are soooooooooooo many other "fish to fry" I'd have to agree that truly worrying about this is bordering on the infantile.

Still, there is a certain irony or at least a perception of extravagance with FLOTUS jetting off to Spain for a long weekend at the beach while the business owners in Jacksonville can't find two quarters to rub together.

For the record, my family and I are going to Hawaii in a month or so, but then again, we all love America and we're not rich like the Obamas.

I say this every election cycle, but it is just me, or are the negative ads even worse than years past? I'm telling you, here in CT I haven't heard a single positive message.

Not necessarily. For example Michael Steele after criticizing Obama's war strat was slapped back into place in a hurry and the Afghan War...no matter it's reality...isn't going to be a campaing issue. We Republicans just don't use war for politics and I believe our leadership silenced Steele effectively, in fact, he nor anyone else has said a word.

I believe we'll realize this is a lose lose as well, why would ANYONE criticize the First Lady? She's beautiful, so are the children, let's show them off!

In California it is all Meg Whitman's Ebay money vs. The Teacher's/State Employee's Union dues (backing none other than Jerry Brown!) right now. All the mean exaggerations would be funny, except the candidates wouldn't do it if it didn't work... so some idiots must be believing the propaganda.

You said it. As everyone knows, Im a democrat/liberal. I normally always vote this way. But I REALLY interested in Meg Whitman for Governor of California due to her reputation as the leader of EBAY.

But....Ive not heard any other then her smear campaigns airing. First it was her republican opponant (and those were nasty ads) and now it Jerry Brown. Its really turning me off as Id really like to hear something OTHER then how bad the other candidates are!
