But animal testing is not done on wildlife?

Actually, there's truth behind this one.
Google search: valdez oil spill dish detergent
And tell me what you learn about the consensus on the best cleaning agent used for cleaning the local fauna.

I did not say they don't use dish detergent to clean up oil spills, I was simply pointing out that probably thousands over the number of cleaned animals were maimed and killed with chemicals in Proctor and Gambles labratories.

Green has caught on so well, everyone is pretending.
I saw an investment show last night that basically said if you don't have green branding somewhere in your product line, you are going to be shut out. I have no idea what this guy was smoking, but I suspect the all powerful earth lobby wants its way everywhere, like most dominating power structures. Green or Die.

It's a marketing ploy. I'll tell you another one. A big one. Jesus. Jesus and just about any kind of charity, although anything to do with breast cancer is probably the most popular.
Buy now and help the kids.
Buy now and we'll donate one dollar to...
There's a whole line of tableware with scripture on it. It's really popular.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
I found Ash, one of my many cats, in a car engine when she was no bigger than the size of my hand. She had traveled under the engine for over 8 miles from the country into Christiansburg, Va. She was covered in motor oil which is toxic to cats. I did, in fact, use Dawn to clean her up and it worked wonderfully. Frankly, I don't mind animal testing as long as it is done in a humane way and the companies are held accountable for any deaths, severe injuries, or pain caused to the animals. I do find it odd that if I go grab a squirrel, tie it up, and poke at it with a stick, I am committing animal cruelty, but if a Corporation does it, it's somehow progress. But not all animal testing causes death, injury, or pain. Now, when we are talking about testing aimed at curing the worlds most deadliest diseases, frankly, I can stomach it.

Wouldn't Palmolive dish detergent do the same thing?
And BG, if you decide to grab a squirrel and tie it up, I want video. Seriously, my money's on the squirrel. My cats don't even pick fights with squirrels, they are total badasses.
