This will probably be a "Guy's Only" thread but what is your favorite?..Mine is the North American F-86 Sabre

The F4U Corsair and the P-51 Mustang.

    B-17 and B-25

BTW, I was married in a B-25. Click only if you are not diabetic or are resistant to a saccharine overdose. Getting hitched in a B-25 over Lakeland, Florida!

Cool and LOUD! We needed those headsets since where we were standing was directly in line with the props. War planes aren't soundproofed.

We were married on Saturday, by shear coincidence, the 56th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid, then spent our honeymoon living in 15 foot Casita travel rented from MacDill AFB MWR and working as flight line volunteers at Sun'N'Fun.

BTW, pilot joke: How does a woman know her date with a pilot is half over? When he says, "Well, that's enough about me, let's talk about airplanes."

I love the F4U too?! (know why they built it with the bent gull wings?)
