Thumbs up 150 economists back GOP in debt fight

I mean this couldn't really be anymore telling. The list is long, and prestigious. Fiscal issues have usually always been one of our party's strongest points, and it's time we reawaken Americans to this truth.

Boehner's call is just the COMMON SENSE thing to do people.

More than 150 economists back U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner's call to match any increase in the debt limit with spending cuts of equal size, according to a letter released by the Republican leader's office Wednesday.

Signatories include Nobel laureate Robert Mundell of Columbia University and economists from schools like New York University and Georgetown University, as well as conservative think tanks like the American Enterprise Institute.

I'm not buying it. The Republican Party spent more money than all the previous 42 administrations combined between the years of 2000 and 2008. Now suddenly I'm expected to believe they've done an about-face and they're back on the austerity bandwagon?

Nope, not buying it. Republicans need to walk the walk before I'll believe another word that comes out of their mouths.

I believe last time these fools helped with the debt, the fucking debt increased. Hell that was just last month.

Debt reduction.....Orwellian for "lets add 38 billion and no one will notice."
