    Bill Maher NAILS this one

    Yup...Maher has it exactly right.
"after 9/11 bush was polling around 90 percent. that means the vast majority of democrats and independents put partisanship aside and threw in their lot with the country and her president, and it was only after years of bush's abject failure that this support began to erode.

i've yet to see any evidence this move is even in the republican playbook. obama's got a D on his helmet so republicans want to see him sacked. period." Highway234

I don't get off on partisan pop news politics fed to me by talking heads. But FWIW, good job Bill. The GOP does indeed suck, for the most part. But LOL if you think that makes a strong case for voting Democrat.

No, it's not a strong case for voting Democrat. I just think that it's time we woke up from the fever dream that is the radical right agenda. That's where this country has been going, and it's TIME to stop being stuck on stupid.

I get it's a slow news day, I also now get why so few actually take this dude seriously. He stands there, lies, generalizes, stereotypes, and misleads, but since this is just meat for the ever shrinking liberal base, I suppose this is to be expected?

Getting unstuck from stupid means taking the entire Middle East, War on Terror story and ignoring it. They're going to do what they're going to do over there, and they're going to misinform us about all of it the entire way, because they need to manufacture public opinions about things like that.

He has the same "entertainer" credentials as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Except he's a lot funnier.

Indeed he is a lot funnier. I laughed my ass off listening to this version of "New Rules." It was so fucking hilarious because it's TRUE!

    And yet, Maher was right.
