Sarah Palin and daughter Bristol Palin have sought to register trademarks on their names. The two reality TV stars wanted to have their names protected, however they did not complete the registration process, according to a report.

Sarah Palin and daughter Bristol failed in a bid to get their names trademarked because they forgot to sign the applications, according to an ABC News report.

Frum Forum claims, "The Palins wanted to protect their names for “educational and entertainment services, namely, providing motivational-speaking services in the field of life choices,” according to rejected app, filed on Nov. 5."

They are free to file again.

She is going to make such a competent Republican Presidential candidate.
She and Bristol wanted to trademark their names so they could among other things provide motivational speaking in the field of life Choices.....For example not being able to complete anything including the trademark application process, Bristol's life choices of abstinence while her mom is endlessly spewing hot air about that very issue?
Perhaps demanding such high speaking fees to go and speak at universities about abstinence was not such a good idea.
People are laughing at the potential Republican Presidential Candidate.

More woes for Sarah...Palin was to speak at the Patriots & Warriors Gala at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale, Colorado, but the vent has been canceled.

According to the Denver Post, the group said Saturday that the event had been canceled because of "safety concerns resulting from an onslaught of negative feedback received by the organization."

"Due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Gov. Palin and others associated with her appearance, it is with deep sadness and disappointment that, in the best interest of all, we cancel the event for safety concerns," according to the news release.

Fortunately for the rest of the sane populace the amount of people that are actually upset with a complete stranger over things that have no impact on the lives of the obsessed are in the extreme minority.

It's ironic that the poster that tried to tie Palin to the shooting in Az has much in common with the actual shooter. Loughner blogged, sent hateful E-mails and death threats to Giffords for years before finally acting out. The Pima County Sheriff ignored the threats then blamed the rhetoric on the right the shooting.

If there is one thing we should have learned from Az it is to take stalkers and people with a disproportionate amount of misplaced hatred of a public official seriously.

If Palin was a Democratic Congresswoman would moderators here allow this repeated bashing from a seemingly disturbed source to continue right after 6 people were killed in Az by a psycho ???

The people that were actually complicit in the shootings in Az were the people that ignored Loughner, passed him off as another harmless nut ball.
