Angry Let's get the facts RIGHT!

The day the Democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009
    -- it was actually January 3rd 2007.

The day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives
and Senate, the start of the 110th Congress.

The Democratic Party controlled a majority in both chambers for
the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

"For those of you who are listening to the liberals propagating
the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault," think about this:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate
    and the Congress:

At the time: The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
    The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT
    MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

    Remember the day.

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the
House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking
    Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what
part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

THANK YOU DEMOCRATS for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and
4.6% Unemployment to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6
TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and
    Freddie Mac FIASCOS!

(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie &Freddie -
starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy).

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND
    Freddie Mac? OBAMA

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
    OBAMA &the Democratic Congress

So when someone tries to blame Bush

REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007 THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!

And I bet that Obama will still blame bush for everything besides the economy during the remaining two years of his presidency.

The Democrats will not assume any responsibility at all.
    Hurry up 2012!!!

No, there is nothing wrong with parrotting right wing propganda.

IMO...and I'm not trying to be a dick...it's kind of nice to link a cite for stuff like this, just so we can tear your sources to shreds and expose the hopeless bias present in the mindless proaganda you've posted.

Yes, it's propaganda. Here... Let's take one line, and try running with it:

"Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy."

See if you can find this claim in any source that isn't a copy of this particular propaganda rant. Besides, the same rant also says that the Democrats were in charge starting in January 2007. That means that if any of Bush's 17 warnings were made in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, or 2006, then it was a Republican Congress that ignored him.

Djinn, you are off topic. The topic is not to get the facts correct... It's to get the facts RIGHT.
When it comes to GOP stupidity, there's no need to make stuff up.

It is a legitimate topic though. I mean while Obama is blamin everything on his predecessor while having control of both chambers, he is also blaming everything he can't get done on the minority party in both chambers.

That is definitely doublespeak. I mean at some point you have to accept some responsibility.

C'mon meth....This is Washington we're talking about here. There are overlapping interests that have failed to prevent our latest economic upheaval.

There is never a point in any adminstration where the actions and circumstances are completely unaffected by the previous 4 to 8 years.

The fatal flaw to this OP is it's desire to draw black and white lines of responsibility for our situation which is rank with gray area.

The Obama admin isn't saying all the blame should still be on Bush...but righties sure seem to be willing to dump ALL of this on Obama.

The claim is not just made up by the author. This is a claim that was made by Karl Rove in the WSJ: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123137220550562585.html

Of course, that article doesn't specifically say 17 times, it just talks about several different attempts at reform by Bush and other Republicans...and it comes from an Admin insider...so take it for what it is worth.
