Good! Maybe France will be able to do what the US has been unable to do.

In spite of 9 years and several trillion dollars.

PARIS – France has declared war on al-Qaida, and matched its fighting words with a first attack on a base camp of the terror network's North African branch, after the terror network killed a French aid worker it took hostage in April.

Now France declares war against Al Queida..............better late than never huh. Wow the terrorists can kill a senior citizen and then France wants to get off their ass and do something about it............Memo to France.......either Shit or get off the Pot.

Sounds a little like you're doing as well with your memo to France as the French did in getting involved. Agree though, better late than never.

Cut them some slack.......are you kidding me? They are part of NATO correct? Member of the European Security Council, Member of the UN.......see them sending any troops anywheres? They assisting us in Afghanistan? They putting any pressure on Pakistan? On Iran? N.Korea? Did we get any assistance from them with Somalia? Lets not forget we sided with the French in Nam and ended up in the mess they began. Now they declare War, over a decade since 911. Other countries have been attacked all thru-out the decade.

I will give them credit when they send troops to Afghanistan, or Somalia, or Yemen. Let the French put their money where their mouth is..........lets see the French step up to the plate on the War with Terrorism. If other little countries can send troops so can the French!

Terrorism is an ideal. You can't defeat it.
Bombing it will only make it spread.

You can diminish its effectiveness by moving into terrorville, isolating your troops from its effects and having everyone notice that when the idealists can't kill you, they start killing their own brothers.
