Will Democrats retain Control in 2010?
The rate at which they are enacting legislation, they seem as though they are urgent to change the nation in two years...what do you think?
Yes, America loves us!
No, they have over stepped
i don't know, I'm consumed with questioning the new Mod team

It's got a whole lot less to do with enacting legislation and a whole lot more to do with who falls into scandals and screw ups.
Conservative media's complaints that nothing Obama is proposing will work isn't potent enough to make righties attractive at the voting booths.
Congress's huge Democratic majority will remain so.
The Senate will loose two Republican seats, Hodes takes over for Judd Gregg, Kitt Bond leaves and Robin Carnahan takes it, and Democrats will loose one, Spectre loosing to Toomey. Maybe Al Franken might finally sit by then too.
Democrats will increase thier power to total control in 2010. Sorry Con.
How about "yes, because the republicans are still too inept to win votes"
Thats a long way off, but I'm gonna venture a guess and say that they will not.
It will all depend on the economy for the most part I suspect. If it gets worse, then the masses will blame who is currently in power. Then you will see more Repubs elected.
I hope we see neither re elected and get some 3rd party candidates in there.
You should have added that to your pole, something to the effect of if both the Repubs and Dems fuck up enough in the next year will 3rd parties have a chance?
I agree.
I think the Dems are doing everything they can to lose (as usual and merely by being just who they are).
Problem this time around is that the Repubs are spending too much time trying to be just like the Dems that they are trying to defeat.
There's a reason why Sarah Palin continues to get attacked as much as she does. It's not because of the reasons for which she is being attacked.
If conservatives were to rate Sarah Palin on an issue by issue basis, they would find that she most represents their political views.*
* Note to conservatives.....test me on this.
lol, I love your 3rd option. But seriously, I think it's to early to tell. Still lots of time to screw things up, or get them straightened out.
This isn't another one of those sad arguments that the reason people make fun of Sarah Palin is because they fear her is it? Please... don't.
I am sure they would... but if liberals were to rate who they hope the Republicans nominate in 2012, I am sure that Governor Palin would be at or near the top of the list. That would be a gift to the left.If conservatives were to rate Sarah Palin on an issue by issue basis, they would find that she most represents their political views.*

Its about organization and a singular purpose (insert borg joke here). The republicans aren't organized and are unwilling to unite at this point, and I think its going to take more than two years to recover. Then Obama is up for reelection and I don't see him losing and then you have the coattails to ride on. Highly doubtful.
