They are not through. Obama and the Dems have plans to spend even more!!! Are there not some sensible Democratic voters out there that realize yet that Obama is very quickly destroying the country? This is the most ridiculous and obvious bit of stupidity. They want to spend more on helth care. Do these idiots not relize we are in deep economic trouble??

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Health-care overhaul legislation being drafted by House Democrats will include $600 billion in tax increases and $400 billion in cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel said.
Democrats will work on the bill’s details next week as they struggle through “what kind of heartburn” it will cause to agree on how to pay for revamping the health-care system, Rangel, a New York Democrat, said today. The measure’s cost is reaching well beyond the $634 billion President Barack Obama proposed in his budget request to Congress as a 10-year down payment for the policy changes.
Asked whether the cost of a health-care overhaul would be more than $1 trillion over a decade, Rangel said, “the answer is yes.” Some Senate Republicans, including Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah, say the costs will likely exceed $1.5 trillion. ...

This is why they want the new sales tax. All those tax cuts were nothing but a lie. By adding the sales tax, consumers will spend less on the economy, and give more to the criminals. Nice job Dems, you people sold us out!

Here is a little side note. The numbers of spending went up by consumers a month ago, because gasoline has gone up. The price of gas has gone up for us here in the states because the dollar is going down. People are losing their jobs and the money they do have is deflating, while gas goes up.

And What does Obama propose? Spend more on credit.

You don't know the half, we are at a very dangerous tipping point. In the last three months there has been about one million jobs lost, and just about the same number of foreclosures. When that number becomes equal for a duration no longer that a couple, maybe three months, the bottom falls.

Now before we hear about all the money Bush spent on the war, please keep in mind that social programs at a federal level rarely if ever end. These are entitlements that only get more expensive and never get repealed.

Bush did his fair share. Hell with no child left behind, the hideous Medicare plan, the wars, the tax loop holes to progress the off shoring of millions of jobs, tripling the BATFE, homeland security, and the list goes on, then add the wars, you get massive debt.

Baucus is a dick. Why can't we all just be able to buy into the same health care coverage government employees get?
