Your right, they were probably blowing through lights and speeding and stuff, hell they might have been making lots of noise as well.

ummmm, how do they know the patient isnt in a life/death situation? thats some crazy shit. i thought ambulances always have the right of way.

First of all this did not happen to the driver, it happened to the GUY RIDDING IN THE BACK with the patient. So far what I have seen on this thread is moot. secondly, if it weren't for the camera this guy would be sitting in jail, most likely for assaulting the cops fist using his face.

I would think the EMT's have the ultimate right to decide who goes to the hospital, if the police wanted to make an arrest then shouldn't they have followed to the hospital? I've seen cops issue PTA's in the ER before.
