Obama has made himself complicit to torture and rape. He is a war criminal and the entire government knows it, making them complicit as well. This is being done in our names, with our hard earned tax dollars, and it is as bad as it gets. When you condone this type of abuse for anyone, then you must condone it for our men and women, you think about that!!

My sister and I were just discussing this whole Cheney v. Obama smackdown thing. It's starting to smell like a big distraction. I'm wondering what other stuff was done to the Guantanamo detainees that may preclude them ever being released lest they talk about it. And how many people have actually been detained. How are we to know for sure what's actually been going on?

I got to thinking about what Naomi Klein talks about in the Shock Doctrine about experimental psychological "techniques" being used on detainees in Abu Ghraib. And then I thought, what if they were just experimenting on a lot of these people, knowing they had no info, but wanting to find out what methods worked and which didn't to assess how far you could push someone before they resorted to flat out making shit up. It seems like something they would think they needed to know, doesn't it?

There are a lot of ways to torture people without doing physical harm.

Just being lock up with no end date would have me doing the harri carri thing.

BTW everything this government does is a distraction, they're a bunch of criminals.

I know you probably don't watch Rachel Maddow, but last night she did a pretty good assessment of the policy of "undetermined detention" being a kind of "meet the new boss, just like the old boss" thing. And I have to admit, Obama has changed very little so far as I can see.

I am glad to see you still have an open mind, most unfortunately believe that Obama has made change, hell their level ofdeniabilityis staggering, and you wont see them on threads like this and others depicting his crimes. Hell the thread doesn't exist to them, for that matter, neither does Iraq, torture, Gitmo, it is all made up.

Most of the fascist I have read about are sadistic, evil people and should be dealt with as soon as they are found out. People inside our government think they can rule with impunity but the American people must put an end to the practice of torture or one day not too far in the distant future we ourselves will be tortured by these fascist scum.

The pics, the video's, the lack of deniability, the fact that everyone else knows about this, the fact the the media is doing the bidding of their owners and making a this a left/right issue when the fact is, the entire scum government is guilty as hell.

I don't know about this particular claim, but Hersh kept saying Bush was going to invade Iran. That never happened.
