Thread: Obama's mess...in just over a 100 days

The repubs are gone and this is what were left with....

1 ) 787 billion dollar porkulus bill..thanx for all those shovel ready jobs Obama !! Another lie.

2 ) 3.5 trillion dollar budget that adds more to our national debt than all previous presidents from George Washington to George Bush....in under a 100 days no less

3 ) 1 trillion budget deficit as it stands and a 12 trillion forecasted deficit by 2020. 900 billion in interest alone per year. Glad you support that Bourne.

4 ) Federal takeover of auto industry. New standards passed that are effectivly going to destroy whats left of them. Private investors took a bath but the Unions and the Govt. made out like bandits.

5) Federal takeover of banks and mortgage industry.

6 ) Taxpayers being left on the hook for mortgage defaulters

7 ) Federal funding for international groups that support, promote and perform abortions. Aren't those liberals humane ?

8 ) Closing Gitmo but wait he cant because Congress wont give him the funds. Took you liberals this long to realize that was his plan all along. A way to renig on a campaign promise by blaming it on the Congress. idiots.

9 ) Demonized returning vets in homeland security memo's

10 ) reinstating and reinvigorating welfare programs

11 ) Pushing cap and trade ENERGY policies that admittingly are going to cost EVERYONE more money on their utillity bills. Not going to raise taxes for 95 % of Americans....fucking liar.

12 ) going after previous administration like were a third world bannana republic.

13 ) trillions in bailouts...( TARP, TIFF, TALF...etc ) Not to mention bailing out GM and then letting them go chapter 11. Great plan.

14 ) Enacting new CAFE standards that are going to hurt American auto industries...( whats left of them ) by forcing them to make lighter, weaker and more dangerous vehicles. All in the name of the greatest scam ever perpetrated on a civilized Country in History.

15 ) Releasing memo's about interogation techniques in order to inflame our enemies and malign his predecessor. Wont release memo's that show their effectivness.

16 ) Moving towards substandard socialized and rationed medicine.

17 ) World apology tour. Apoligizing for America's exceptionalism. You dont speak for me douchebag.

18 ) Reaching out to Iran...lol. Then watching impotent as they test a new long range missle. In your face amauteur.

19 ) Getting your ass handed to you by Benjamin Netanyahu. Oh wait that was pretty cool.


And it's just getting started. Really dont see how it can get anyworse but Im sure Obama will suprise everyone. Even the morons that voted for him.

I never thought of Obama as being a superman till I read your post, but looking at what the man has accomplished in 100 days I gotta admit that he's amazing. Singlehandedly destroying the nirvana that George left for us--and in just 100 days. Wow.

With the hysteria rampant in this country--on all sides--it's hard to envision anything but our national dissolution via spittle-laden invective.

Call him Superman if you want but he has been very busy. What's truly disturbing is that the list seems to be one long hyperbole filled rant, but upon closer examination it's all true.

The below link is an op-ed from David Brooks of the NYT. And since no one here is going to accuse me of being nothing less than the worst of the worst of liberals, yet I find myself sharing the same concerns as Brooks. What Brooks doesn't address in the op-ed is to continue as we are in regard to healthcare will take us to the same place, economic suicide. So what we get on forums is rancor and witless blather that only serves to polarize the debate. Brooks presents a good argument what he doesn't put on the table though with the regard to the deficits and debt are tax increases. Go ballistic righties, even if Obama didn't spend a dime, you were looking at that just to pay for Bush's spending.

What the right is doing is just taking themselves out of the discussion. Because to them there is no discussion just yelling until they get their way. There is a reason they're on the outside looking in right now, by denying or ignoring how we got where we are, they're just pushing back the time they remain in exile. I welcome Brooks POV.

They're on the outside looking in because the left ran on the platform of anybody but Bush. It netted up enough gullible Americans to get our worst nightmare elected and now his policies and the policies of his Democratic Congress are being exposed. Hell even MSNBC is having a hard time spinning anything good out of Obama's decisions. Other than saying that this is STILL all of Bush's fault, which even you know better, do you care to debate or counter anything on that list ?

what a load that was.Now we all see why the "Times" is losing it's shirt. They are just a propaganda machine for Obama, in hopes of a handout to them also. Health care is not the magic bullet to recovery.Your conclusion about the Bush influence is laughable.
Now the one thing I will give about Bush is he had this idea like what the writer suggested Obama has, to spend and rely on growth to pull us out. Bush had that confidence also. But as is so obvious we cannot spend our way out of this mess, but we could drill our way out of it. It is the lack of common sense that strikes me the most.Which is replaced with the long held Urban Legends of liberal fixes to all our ills. People call religion a fairtale well this religion of liberalism is the biggest Fairytale of them all.
