    Too much freedom of expression?

Are we allowed to be to nasty in America? Shouldn't we have to be at least respectful to eachother in public? I am not making a case against censorship in the entertainment world but rather a case for our information systems to be based on fact and not half truths? The media lies to us daily and I walked passed a girl who wore a shirt that said "first fucking blood" on it in huge red letters. She was obviously a tard who needed attention. I'm asking where the line is drawn? You are not allowed by law to hit someone who is in your face screaming they are going to kill you or you will be arrested. Do we as people need to be given more vigilance rights or be made to keep our shitty attitudes behind closed doors? At the very least at places such behavior is welcome?..

We have too much censorship and not enough personal responsibility. Here's an idea. Legalize simple battery. That way if I say something that pisses you off you can smack me around a little. That'll help us police ourselves, eh?

Yeah I'm not so sure I'd like the guy/gal who chose what was a good attitude and a bad attitude, how do I know they just don't have a bad attitude when deciding what I'm allowed to say?

It would be nice if people were more respectful to one another, but I guess I can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first.

Thats my point. I feel cornered sometimes. If someone wants to push the issue, should we not as free thinking human beings be able to combat this?.

This thread is a joke, no offense, but when the real leaders meet, it has to be reported in the CT room. Free speech my ass.

When a bully refuses to let the issue go even after you try avoiding the issue, by law you should be able take things in your own hands or make hate speech illegal. Some places it's a chate crime to pick on someone by the color of thier skin or their sexual preference but someone says they are gonna kill you and until they do, it's a crime.

You just came back from being booted I see. I was not talking about censorship as much as I was saying I'd like the loud mouth shit talkers of america to have to back their words up and have it be legal. If the cops will not do anything then it should be up to the citizen.

So either we get a law outlawing people who talk shit or we get a law that lets you beat someone's ass who is talking shit?

No, how about you just take it and not let it get to you instead of erecting laws around personal insecurity.

Or you could just let them throw the first punch and claim self defense.

I don't think we need more laws concerning people who can't take the heat.

Claiming self defense does not work. You will be arrested even if you were acting in self defense. The side of the asshole is always protected. It's allowed to be pushed into a corner.
