Senators slam plan for wounded vets to use private insurance


Spend billions on pork, and waste, give the banks everything they want, disarm the vets and make them pay for service related injuries, this is way over the top!!!!

That's fucked up.

I thought private health care was supposed to be better than the VA.

Are you telling me the troops would prefer to be treated by government (socialized) hospitals and doctors than free market ones?

So because Obamanation want this, you think it is cool that these vets have to pay for their wounds? There is not much I can can say about this, nothing nice anyway.

How does this sound, every base, fort, what ever has hospitals, the troops who get their face blown off can and should get the best treatment possible, in those hospitals, then when they get out, the VA should give them the best care anywhere, like we promised them. I guess that is hard to do when were racing to give the GDP to contractor pals and banks...

No, I'm just pointing out to those that scream about socialized/government health care sucking, that if it sucked so bad why would you want to force in on the troops?

Currently, veterans' private insurance is charged only when they receive health care from the VA for medical issues that are not related to service injuries, like getting the flu.

Charging for service-related injuries would violate "a sacred trust," Veterans of Foreign Wars spokesman Joe Davis said. Davis said the move would risk private health care for veterans and their families by potentially maxing out benefits paying for costly war injury treatments.

Just so you know, I don't think they should have to pay for their service related injuries with private insurance, but what if they wanted to?

Force it on them??? Obama will make them pay, that is wrong. Most don't have jobs when they get out, especially the wounded, lets just let them sit in the alley and die. This is what you recommend?? Maybe they can spend their disability on it, hell who needs rent, and food for the children??
