Thread: Obama Earmark flip flop

Obama said he would not allow earmarks in the Democratic welfare spending bills. Now that is proen to be a complete lie as Obama went on the news to explain how earmarks are no a good thing. What a liar he is. Also he denounce Bush for adding signing stements to bills and he quietly, without any mainstream media poining it out, added a signing statement to the bill he signed. What a hypocrit this guy is.

Fine, whatever, but this "hypocrite" also said that he needs this stimulus package now (as in yesterday), warts and all. Because of the time factor he has stated publicly that dealing with earmarks and pork barrel spending is still tops on his list.

What a hypocrit he is. One month say earmarks are bad and then next month say earmarks are good. Does this guy actually stand for anything other than welfare programs?

I listened to it and it is BS. He is saying earmarks are good now. Before they were bad. He is simply making excuses for the designated pork barrel spending that is about to go on. This bill is atleast half welfare , not stimulus at all. Obasma had the gall to insult the intelligence of the American people to try to suggest that Food stamps were a Stimulus! What a joke.

at least earmarks are spent in america helping promote jobs and infrastruture.. a lot of money is pent on bullshit over seas without it even being listed or any oversight.. so in a way earmarks are good for americans ... and if you compare the total of the earmarks to the overall amount of the bill. it is less than 1 percent .. I want to know where the other 99 percent is being wasted..
