Iran says it now runs more centrifuges
BUSHEHR, Iran (AP) -- Iran's nuclear chief says the country has increased the number of centrifuges enriching uranium to 6,000, the latest show of defiance to U.N. demands it halt the enrichment program.
In November, Iran said it had 5,000 centrifuges running at its enrichment plant in the central city of Natanz.

The nuclear chief, Vice President Gholam Reza Aghazadeh, says Iran will continue to install more centrifuges and enrich uranium to produce nuclear fuel for future Iranian power plants.

If he's smart he'll do nothing. No country has the right mix of capability and current desire to give a shit about this in a military sense, and they don't care about the UN. They'll never get a nuke off the ground targeted for anyone who can't wipe them out. Umm, the IAEA says differently, you should remember that they also got it right on Iraq.

Goldie, They do not care that about being wiped out. They care about distroying Israel and creating the chaos needed to bring back the Mahdi. I know that you and I do not believe in the Mahdi or his return, But the Shi'a nut jobs running Iran do, and that counts. They are serious and they are getting closer, and we should take out their capabilities and make them start from square one.

A full scale invasion isn't necessary. Do one of two things or both:

1. Launch heavy air strikes into Iran and destroy anything that has to do with their nuclear program.

2. Topple the theocracy in Iran by systematically targeting and eliminating Iranian government officials and Ayatollah Khomeini.

Option 1 is a temporary solution.

Option 1 and 2 is a permanent solution to the nuclear threat.

If we're lucky another revolution will spark in Iran, the theocracy will be broken, and a new true republic will come in place instead.

There is no expansion with the strategy I laid out.

All it is is a measured response to the Iranian nuclear threat.

China is not about to nuke their essential trading partner over Iran nor is Russia looking to experience a new kind of winter in Moscow.

Besides, we have a missile shield and a nuclear deterrent.

Why else do you think the Russians are going "ballistic" over the missile shield in Poland? (Wow, that was a bad pun.)
