But it's like that with everything and everyone. That's why people interview people and don't just hire them off their resume/portfolio.

In some cases its even worse, they're hiring off of Facebook.

Are you still using that ancient talking point? Sounds like someone needs to renew his Glenn Beck subscription!

And the "George bush is an idiot" talking point is so much more fresh and acceptable for some reason. He's the same "idiot" that convinced an overwhelming majority of Democrats in Congress to go to war and kept unemployment rates at around 6% after he implemented tax cuts "for the rich" ( Another talking point )

Not that this is on topic, but wasn't that proven false?

Abject, unreasonable fear did that. Bush was just the messenger.

I've worked for two Fortune 500 companies. I can tell you that all the degrees in the world didn't make the upper mgt qualified to manage people or make crucial decisions. The managers who excelled? The ones who worked their way to the top by hard work. Some acquired degrees while working their way up and the only benefit was in making that next step.

I'm sure it's not that way in all companies.

    I completely agree with this.

Do you think the wisdom in this post should be applied to Presidential candidates?
"“Guess what women are taking about? I don’t care if they’re stay-at-home mothers or working mothers or grandmothers. They’re talking about jobs and the legacy of debt that we are leaving our children.” Ann Romney
