US defense chiefs shy away from 16-month Iraq timetable

US defense chiefs shy away from 16-month Iraq timetable

Gee really?? No shit!!!! Obama is just like Bush, he will tell you one thing and do another. This comes as no surprise to me.

    From your article...

"Let me just say, I think our obligation is to give the president a range of options and the risks associated with each of those options," he said. "And he will make the decision."
I fail to see any inference in your article that Obama has changed his position on a withdrawl from Iraq in 16 months.

I see. So your original assertion was a partisan fabrication. Obama hasn't said one thing and now is doing another.

I am not Partisan, I am saying Obama lied, and he will not leave Iraq in 16 months. I stated the obvious, you only see what you want, you have limited forethought, your abilities are limited in that respect!

You have no proof that Obama has altered his position on withdrawing from Iraq in 16 months. None. Your article says as much. Just some strange partisan hope that he'll break his promise so that the defeatists can cheer. That is a very strange position to take. It's as if your hoping that Obama and this country fails.
