While I think the White House was stupid, overzealous and a little creepy about the whole fishy email thing I can assure you one thing about Issa. He never met a camera or mic he didn't fall in love with and he is a flaming idiot. He is also, unfortunately, the Rep from my district.

No truer words were ever spoken...but one crazy thing happened a few weeks ago when Issa was on Bill Maher. For about thirty seconds he bagan to channel somebody who knew a thing or two about Medicare and Medi-Cal. Of course when it was over he returned to his natural state of juggling what he thinks might look good on camera with the GOP platform in his limited mind, and looking quite befuddled in the process.

Good. The White House has failed to explain how it was done and if some group was hacking into the WH email they need to be prosecuted.

Bowing down to inscessant demands from conservatives or bithers or whomever was not what they had in mind when they said they wanted to be "transparent". Conservatives really don't care about spam or hackers. They're just trying to be whiney pains in the ass, and man alive! are they ever good at it.

What on earth are you talking about? Got anything of substance to add here?

I'm talking about inscessant demands for investigations and apologies from the right for the many unproductive distractions they cultivate

Talking about a fundamental characteristic of those pushing for an investigation into the white house emails is not unsubstantial...IMO

No what you are talking is called hyperbole.

If someone is hacking into the WH system they need to be prosecuted, it needs to be investigated. If someone at the WH inserted these names and sent thins out, they need to be prosecuted, it needs to be investigated.

And after 8 years of you guys on the left demanding a new investigation a week thou dost protest too loudly.

Hyperbole means "extravagant exageration". What I said was not an exageration of anything. Righties who call for a new investigation every week and a new apology twice a week are pains in the ass. You can call my statement what you want and don't hold your breath waiting for an investigation into the matter.

DUH, that's why I used it. If the fishing was such a good idea, why did they drop it like a rock? And the WH has convinced no one that some of those email addresses weren't transferred over to their lobbying list and it is perfectly reasonable for Congress to execute it's oversight responsibility for such government resources.
