Did Palin abuse power again for future son-in-law?

    Andrew McLemore
    Published: Saturday January 3, 2009
A critic of Gov. Sarah Palin claimed the Alaska politician may have once again abused her power to obtain an apprenticeship for her soon-to-be son-in-law Levi Johnston.

Dan Fagan, who also publishes a Web site called the thealaskastandard.com, said federal regulations require all apprentices to have a high school diploma, which Johnston does not have.

"So how is it that the governor's soon-to-be son-in-law is working in an apprentice program?" Fagan wrote in an column. "Is this another case of the governor believing the rules don't apply to her or her family?"

I'm sure this is not inclusive to only Palin, but alot of elites in the heirchy of society as well. Here nor there, Levi's ass needs the boot.

A poll of Italians showed that an American college student accused of murder while traveling abroad is viewed as more popular than Sarah Palin.
Can you imagine that some Republican fools out there actually want to run her for President. Maybe they can wheel out McCain on life support and try it all over again in 2008.

    Privileges for the privileged.

The privileged, they call this the "perqs of office".

Everyone else, calls it hypocrisy and theft.

Stealing an opportunity, as it were.

Well, fortunately it's Alaska's business, and none of mine.

It is kinda interesting, though, how people are keeping tabs on the girl....

Actually, Palin running for president could be good. It would expedite the already quick implosion of the disturbing and increasingly jingoist Republican party.

    Palin 2012. Good idea.

It's against the Palin family code of ethics.

    Yes. "If only".

Well, dem folks don't think like that, right? They're a "pro-life" culture, right? So, they don't care if the baby's brains are oozin' out its ears, they're gonna consider that it's "alive". :rage:

You saw what they did to Terry Schaivo, right? Remote diagnosis from the floor of the Senate? And they even found some asshole MD to try to make it look credible! Amazing... these people are SHAMELESS, they'll stop at NOTHING!

A great deal of the conservative logic is based on "isolation". They want to "isolate" themselves and their families from all the evil in the world (like condoms, for instance). So, they say, "don't tell my kids about this stuff, I don't want them to know". They're ISOLATING their children, right? And, it plays right into the conservative mindset, because the farther they're isolated, the more "them's" there are out there. (Or "Dems", depending on how you want to look at it - "you're either with us or against us", right?)

Well, that's wrong-headed from the git-go, right? That's like tryin' to move out of your neighborhood when the darkies start movin' in.... only, you can't get away! They keep comin' after you! No matter where you move, there they are!

Lots of religions are that way too - that's probably why conservatives and religious folk have some kinda "natural affinity". Religions try to "insulate" and "isolate" themselves from change. They don't like change, not at all! Most of 'em don't like condoms either!

Well, you know, more power to 'em. Sarah must be "real hot" to be havin' kids at 45... she's havin' a sixth, right? Hm.... "culture of life". You know, these people got a REAL strange metric, when they look at something like that. They consider that the child is innocent until it starts making decisions. So, like, everyone's okay until they do something wrong. That "logic" plays perfectly into the original-sin thing and all the rest. So, it's not really the "life" they want to preserve, it's the "innocence" - the "potential for choice". And I mean, they "see" that part, which is kinda abstract in the first place, but they don't see the concrete stuff, like, how much pain the kid's gotta go through while learning not to be "innocent". It's a very myopic world-view... anyway....

I'm on a Penguin kick today. So, here's my Penguin quote for this thread:

You're just jealous 'cause I'm a genuine freak and you have to wear a mask.

Levi could make a ton of money by taking over his dear Mum's meth lab.

Palin was so busy with her own self agrandizement she wasn't even looking when her daughter got knocked up by a meth dealer's son.

Then for political/evangelical reasons she makes her kid MARRY a drug dealer's kid. But hey, the kid might have fallen far enough from the tree, but after that myspace stuff, he's a doper. If there is one thing I can identify a mile away with very few clues, he's a doper.

The kids are on thier own after business hours in this family in spite of the lure they use from nine to five to attract evangelical votes for 2012. Teen preganancy, drugs, what next? it's just like my childhood so far.

Well, you know the "logic" here, right?

They're going to try to force the kid to be "responsible", and they're gonna give 'em a whole lot of stuff to make that happen, thereby making him "not" responsible, and when he screws up they're gonna say that he's a bad person in spite of all the chances they gave him.
