Biden evades question on possible prosecution of Bush admin

Of course team Obama wont go after team Bush, their agendas are the same. Anyway, Bush didn't go after Clinton, so why should these clowns go after Bush. This sort of thing happens with a well entrenched establishment.

International war crimes, crimes against humanity, failure to protect Americans during 911, failure to uphold his constitutional mandate and protect the borders, how is that for a start?

YEah... I've heard all about it for 8 years. It would be nice to see something proven.

    You mean non-start?

The first two are totally fallacious. The others even if true are not criminal acts.

So torture and wars of aggression aren't crimes? Your wrong, both are crimes punishable by death.

Look carefully - what do you see in Biden's eyes? Look at his face - what do you see there?

"Not ruling it in, and not ruling it out"....

Well, he CAN'T "rule it in", 'cause Bushie's still the sitting President. Any such investigation NOW would automatically be a formal impeachment proceeding, and that's why they DIDN'T want to go there.

On the other hand, he won't "rule it out", 'cause he's Executive Branch now, and that's DOJ. So, it COULD be DOJ that goes after Bushie, but, it could also be the Congress (and Congressional subpoenas are very powerful, and it would be LOVELY to force the Supreme Court to decide more specifically whether and how Executive Privilege applies to "ex"-Presidents....).

However - there are several technicalities in the mix now. For one thing, Bushie has WITHDRAWN us from the World Court at the Hague (and that's because they were goin' after him, the rotten f*ckhead... ) - and that would probably be the venue where someone like a Milosevic or a Bush ends up with a formal conviction.

On the other hand, there ARE other venues - like I mentioned, torture can be pursued on at least FOUR levels of law - they can even bring a case against Bushie in the State of Virginia (considering that probably the torture was actually done there) -

Here's my take on it - my take on this is, free enterprise will take care of it. Some hotshot young lawyer eager to make a name for himself, some young investigative reporter who knows where to look or who to ask - there is PLENTY of opportunity in that space. But, if no one picks up the ball, the guvmint will probably do it eventually. Bushie'll be old and gray by then, probably - so they'll probably do something symbolic just to say they're doin' something, but they won't come out with the formal results till, you know.... ten years?

But yeah, it would be lovely to see parallel investigations on MANY levels. The DOJ can talk to people the Congress can't, and vice versa. And special prosecutors are pretty powerful too, and grand juries, and.... it all depends how much political will there is. Obama could easily distract attention by causing an even worse screw-up (you know, learn from Bush - wanna divert attention away from a fire? light a bigger fire somewhere else! ) - but the government is vast and its arm is long, and I'll just bet someone somewhere will come up with something.
