What has happened is that the leftest have decided that from now on if you can't beat your political opponent at the ballot box then trump up charges and have them thrown in a prison cell. They have been attempting to do that to Bush's staff and him ever since Gore lost the election. They also believe impeachment if for when you have a policy difference with the person elected to be President. If you don't agree with him on policy matters then impeach him.

Impeachment is an act of political will. They had neither the case, nor the will . It's a bit like promising your lover you are going to leave your wife when the truth is, you never will. But you keep promising because it keeps the energy level up (no pun intended).

And some are so ignorant of government and civics they believe that Bush will be impeached after he leaves office.

its a huge waste of everyones time. i actually agree with bush when he says history will judge him. frankly i don't think history is going to look favorably on bush, so thats good enough for me.

I agree. Let the little, lying scum leave office and live out his days in the knowledge that he is one of the most villified and despised President's in our country's history.

Could Bush be impeached. Yes, of course. But let's not waste tax dollars on a empty gesture that only confirms what the vast majority of the American public already know. That Bush is a liar and he's usurped the Constitution.

The Iraq war was a war of aggression, therefore it is a war crime by nature. Torture is a crime against humanity. Both are punishable by death.

You have to prove that the President has actually committed a crime, and as long as he's got Executive Privilege, that's pretty much impossible. 'Cause you KNOW he's gonna hide behind it, he always DOES, the rotten coward. He's a COWARD - he doesn't even have the guts to stand up to the American People and TELL US THE TRUTH like he's supposed to. The dumb rotten f*cktard thinks he's runnin' a secret show or somethin'!

But once he leaves office, he's fair game. So, why bother with impeachment? He'd just find a way to weasel out of it. That's what he has weasel lawyers like Gonzales for - they're not good for anything else! They're WEASELS, that's what they're good at and that's why they're there!
