What is your view on gun control? Less, more, about the same as it is now?

More - no assault weapons for nonmilitia members, background checks at gunshows, etc.
I'm for no gun control. The second amendment is quite clear.
Why are you so afraid? There should never be background checks anywhere. Look it this way, just for murder or rape, their have been literally thousands of convicted felons that got off because they did nothing wrong, and for most of those people, they spent hard time. Now of course your government media will tell you about the lower offense felons, that are convicted but did nothing wrong, believe me, there are many. Now these people loose their right, the innocent people that can't afford the appeals precess lose their right, and all in the meanwhile the government commits felonies all most daily.
Stop being afraid of guns, and start fearing the criminals in charge, you will live longer.
I think they should be about the same, but more or less depending on what type of gun control it is. But overall I am pro-gun.
I use to believe that gun control should be increased, but then I started looking at alot of statistics and there is no evidence that gun control reduces crime. If there was any facts that gun control did reduce crime then I would be on your side.
But I do support background checks at gunshows and long waiting periods for guns because I am against criminals getting guns (even though they will most likely steal them anyway) The percentage of people who have guns doesn't have to do with how long people wait for them anyway.
If someone doesn't have the patience to wait a few weeks to get a gun then they most likely shouldn't get one...
But if someone wants a gun, they should be able to basically get whatever one they want.
There is also the ellement of giving the civilian population the ability to overthrow their government or even defend against an invading force. That is another reason why I am against most types of gun control.
huh? Your answer doesn't have to do with background checks at all. If someone is a criminal then they shouldn't be allowed to have a gun, I think that much is pretty obvious. Since guns make crimes easier, certain criminals who have already commited horrible crimes shouldn't be allowed to have a gun.
But there is the Second Amendment though... but hell, who cares about the Constitution anyway?
