Thread: Obama spin on his lie

Obam is busy trying to change his statement about communicating with Blagojevich. Here is Obama's quote from December 9th:

"I had no contact with the governor or his office, and so I was not aware of what was happening" concerning any possible dealing about Blagojevich's appointment of a successor."

So know what does he want us to believe in his words? That his main man Rahm Emanuel is not part of his communication? Or that Rahm was acting as a lone guy off the ranch and communicating with Blegojevich and he (Obama) was unnaware of any of it?

He also made this statement on the 9th:

Everyone agrees, that Blago made the offer, and Obama turned him down. That's all that matters.

The rest of it is Republi-Con TROLLS charging passers-by a quarter's worth of concern and faux outrage.

Republi-Cons are really good at STIRRING THE POT.

That's ALL those bozos have been doin' for EIGHT LONG YEARS now, and meanwhile, NOTHIN'S GETTIN' DONE!!! Everything's fallin' apart! While they're out there stirrin' the pot, our nation is crumbling!!!

Somehow these guys think that stirring the pot is more important than gettin' things done?

So you think that Blagojevich communicated to Obama that he wanted to appoint Obamas pick for money or political favor? And you think that Obama, the exiting Senator from Illinois, who still has a duty to the people of Illinois, should just ignore such corruption. He has a duty you know.

So Axelrod said that lots of communication went on between Obama's camp and Blegojevich. Then Obama say no it did not. So then the next day Axelrod says " OH I guess I made a mistake, there was no communication. Then a day later it surfaces that the conversations between Blagojevich and Rahm Emanuel were taped. These conversations include talk about several candidates.

If Obama turned Blagojevich down, why didn't he report it? There is some piece of information missing from Obama's story. Either way, Obama lied by saying no one in his office had any contact with Blagojevich. Did he lie because he didn't know or because he's in on this scheme? I couldn't tell you, but he seemed absolute about not contacting the government. This situation smells fishy.

Report "it", you say - report WHAT? Blago probably suggested he wanted "something in exchange" - meaning, a political favor. SO WHAT???

Look here - you said "no one in his office", but that's NOT what Obama said. Obama said "I". Not "no one my office". OTHER people said that. NOT Obama.

See, this is the part I was pointin' to about three months ago, which I knew and predicted would happen, QUICKLY, when Obama took office. He's an unknown, and no one knows how much personal power he really has. So, they're gonna find out. Happens every time. The exact same thing happens in my world, when I'm wearing my "corporate change" hat. This is all very predictable. Even the timing of these wiretaps is very predictable!!!

And then the "did he lie because" part - well um... does your mother know you're gay? Hm? :laughing:

The criminal charge is MAIL AND WIRE FRAUD, and soliciting a bribe.

And, it's NOT a grand jury indictment, so the man is innocent until proven guilty.

If all he did was ask for an ambassadorship after he leaves office, that is NOT a bribe. That's just a run-of-the-mill political favor. A BRIBE, is when the guy says, "I want a million bucks, or no deal".

We want to know the history of that warrant. I'm not goin' one way or the other on this till I understand that piece.

It seems the dems were looking under every rock concerning Palin. Here is the "change " president with so many associations from a rotten corrupt Chicago.
Media helped get Obama elected and no doubt will cover for him if this investigations kicks up some interesting ties to Mr. "change" At least he has Oprah as an ally. That seems to be America's guiding light.

Then again, he probably wouldn't, since the Illinois Machine knows Obama's secrets.

The truly important fact that must be borne in mind for the next four years is this:

Obama lied because he found it expedient.

That's a true Orwellian spin on the phrase "Change We Can Believe In".

Nothing's changed, we can all believe in that.
