Bush to receive first-ever International Medal of Peace.

I am at a total loss of words here. Bush is a warlord who has put this country in great shame, and he gets a medal of peace, why, because the punk ass bastard coward gives our money to Africa to fight AIDS, hell I don't even think that the bill has even been paid yet. I feel like I am living in a dream world, a fucking Orwellian nightmare.

Kafkaesque might be a better word than Orwellian, Orwell dealt with the real world. I'll believe that this is not some sort of gag only after the award is actually given. This is a bit too strange for me to believe it's not someone yanking the chains of reporters or perhaps temporary insanity by Rick Warren, maybe both.

Is the International Medal for Peace, (which is to be struck by some lunatic fringe fundamentalist American pastor, and given to an American president who may very well be indicted for war crimes,) anything along the lines of the World Series in which only Americans compete? Have the terms 'world' and 'international' transmogrified in the same way that 'liberal' has in American climes? :dunno:
