    President-Elect Obama, is playing HARDBALL!!!

"U mentioned, sir, my friends. I want to be clear, friendship doesn't come into this. That's part of the old way of doing business. The new way of doing business is let's figure out what projects, what investments are going to give the American economy the most bang for the buck. How can we protect taxpayer dollars so that this money is not wasted?" President-Elect Obama

This reminds me of, JFK. They killed him for having this kind of attitude as well as his brother 5 years later.

Also, Obama, keeps HAMMERING HOME the middle class. Doesn't sound to me like that kinda talk was all just a bunch of empty campaign promises.

I'm a little scared for our next President.

Sounds like it might be possible that the American people won this time, however.

He's the first black president. He knows this better than anyone. I assume he has come to terms with what that might potentially mean in terms of life span a long time ago, or he wouldn't be where he is now.

Knowing that, it's even more impressive that he continued forward. I don't know how many of us would have.

How does this prove Obama is "playing HARDBALL?" All he is doing is expanding the same old failed socialist policies that have been around for decades.

There is ZERO threat whatsoever to the mainstream establishment from Barack "Goldman Sachs" Obama.

JFK was assassinated for daring to challenge the Fed. Now that was playing HARDBALL.

What a moronic post. JFK, was assassinated for going along with a republican administration (Bay of Pigs). He didn't like it, but he went along. When it failed, he took the attitude of:

'IT'S NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL ANYMORE!!!'

Part of that was to take on the fed. But just part of it.

    What about:

    Wanting to restructure the CIA?
Ending all speculation of us joining the war in Nam.
    "High Cabal".
    UFO's and their exposure?
    J. Edgar Hoover.
    Bobby and the Mob/Unions.
The Soviet's wanting missiles in Cuba.

I'm amazed at the lack of fact and how the overwhelming stance of opinion takes precedence on this board.

No, the Americans lost the election.

They lost the election in the primaries, and not one American was nominated by a significant political party to run for the Presidency.

The socialists had a tough time picking which guy to vote for, there where more choices for them than a dog at a sausage convention.
