    Modern Socialism

Just so we're clear on why people are having a hard time taking conservatives seriously these days.

No, its a good example of why people are having a hard time taking socialists seriously these days. I love the government guy in the top hat.

And its individuals like you who create them. Fortunately, you finally got the government you deserve.

Let's revisit this in a year. The country is about to get a very intense lesson in basic economics.

Also, in this country, it isn't so much that the "poor" get poorer, as we have an absurd definition of poverty. To me, no one who watches color TV at home in air conditioning with a weight problem is poor. Nope, not poor at all. Not even remotely.

And the "rich" may be to a man villains (they aren't of course,) but they, to my mind, already serve society well by paying confiscatory taxes, creating jobs and producing goods and services.

When you are encouraged to engage in class envy, you are being manipulated by those seeking to use you as a pawn in a power game.

I would just like to point out that you did not support any of your statements with any facts as you maybe should think about doing in the future in order to lend credence to your statement.

I make the foolhardy assumption that you have the ability and willingness to perceive the blindingly obvious. I will not waste my time, nor take up space here describing things you could see for yourself, with minimal effort. I am not your teacher, nor your parent, nor your keeper, I am your exploiter.

As I have said on a number of occasions, I have little interest in convincing you of anything. You are my tool, and I expect you to continue to serve your function.

The vacuity, and juvenile nature of your pseudo-arguments intensifies the clarity of my positions and comments to the nameless readers who see them. Many of them will be capable of rational thought and basic analysis.

They will not consider it a matter of opinion that an overweight person with reliable housing, owning a color television, and with leisure time is not actually "poor" by rational standards.

So you don't have any evidence to back up your statements? Okay then, they will stand as your unsubstantiated opinion only.

I love confiscatory with a little risotto. I think it's spelled "confiscatore," though.
