The large holders of dollars are steadily converting their assets from dollar denominated securities to euros, yen, and gold and silver bullion. This is mainly why the dollar has picked up of late for it takes a lot of dollars to do that and time, maybe another year. He is right on that this meeting will start to lay the framework for a new international currency. Probably a basket of the yen, euros, dinar which to some extent would be backed by gold or possibly silver like the old pound sterling. He is also right about the time frame for that.
Yeah, this is why the US isn't being invited to some of these economic talks that are goin' on, and MEANWHILE, Bushie's out there playing economic hardball with our ALLIES!!! That's bad stuff man, that's a pile o' trouble. These rotten Neo-Con f*cks are CRAZY, they're completely insane. They're struttin' around wearin' ten gallon hats, and their heads are WAY too small for that kinda thing.
So now, Bushie's got his 40% of the Iraqi oil, which he calls "free access" but which is really keeping the rest of the world OUT, and he thinks this somehow "guarantees our short to medium term energy needs". Man, is this guy a FOOL or what? Yikes!!! Yeah mon, we better start drilling, we have no CHOICE anymore. That rotten f*cker Bush, pissed away THAT choice just like he pissed away every OTHER choice too! We better hope we got plenty o' young rocket scientists.... oh wait.... (looks around).... uh oh.....
I know I probably spend to much time talking about things to come but I caught on early in life, maybe because I live a rural life, that every action has a reaction. If you do things a particular way then things tend to respond in correlation with that particular behavior.
Now I surely do not claim to know much, I only have an associates in sociology with a minor in economics, but I know enough not to rely on my government to tell me the truth. It has always been a challenge for me to seek the truth in what government does not tell you. Like the bailout and what they failed to mention and what they are covering up.
My life has always been centered around my family and how I can best provide for and protect them. I often feel the need, much like you and others, to inform others of my findings and entice them into meaningful discussion. Maybe that is why I find this forum so interesting at times with its diversity of opinions and ideas.
Yes. Well, this bit about "best protecting and providing for your family" is an interesting equation now.
It used to mean either gettin' the best 9-5 you could get your hands on, OR, taking a risk in business.
But NOW, it doesn't seem like the same equation anymore.
There's something more at stake now.
And unfortunately, our GUBMINT, which is supposed to be PROTECTING that "something else", has been FALLING DOWN ON THE JOB!!!
(the rotten f*cks)- (j/k - look, I kid about stuff like that - I use those words to deliver a MESSAGE, and I hope it's comin' across loud and clear, 'cause there's a whole LOT of people out here who feel just the same way I do, and I mean - if they're too scared to give voice to it - well, I'm not).
Unfortunately, I need those gubmint weasels, and even MORE unfortunately, they need me too. We need each other. But if they're gonna go trampling on my Rights and STEALING from me, that is a f'in BOZO no-no. That is CROSSING the line of good faith. It's not acceptable in the LEAST. My approach to these matters "in practice" is pretty much the same as theirs - we let those guys get away with "a little" if they don't make a menace or a complete nuisance out of themselves, but if they become noticeable, we smack 'em. And right now, there's a whole LOT of those "noticeable" weasels over there....
And I mean, it's bloody STUPID to sit there smackin' each other, when both of you realize you need each other. We don't wanna go there. So like, hold up your end of the bargain, and we'll be fine. But don't be sittin' there LYIN' to me and STEALIN' from me and then try to convince me it's in "my best interest" that you're doin' that. Nah, pal. Whatever "enforcement" you come up with for that kinda crap, will be HARSHLY resisted. That is just BULLSHIT, guvmint pals o' mine....
I hear ya, course there are ways to hide income from those bastards. It has been my experience that if they think you have no money they are less likely to take it. I do use my VA benefits, both medical and monetary, but as far as they are concerned they think that is all I have.
We have fruit trees and pecan trees we crop every year , which is a gold mine so to speak. The old bag of bones makes crafts for the home and has a few reliable buyers which resale. When you have things paid for and a reserve of cash and gold one really does not need much in the way of material possessions. I guess it depends on the individual.
Our government has become so corrupt since I was a young man I do not think anything short of a revolution will ever resolve the problems they have been allowed to create. I do know that hard times are coming for the country but other than being active in the political process through petitions, voting, and writing representatives, there is very little else I can do.
Well.... how can I say this.... I "used" to feel that way.
I "used" to think I was bein' a "good little citizen" by doin' all that.
But now, having lived a few years, I've discovered that two out those three things are USELESS, and the third, is somewhat "less" important than all the money that swirls around corporate Weaselton.
See, this is one of those things, like a 4 dollar "mystery charge" that appears on your credit card. That kinda thing, probably "escapes notice" a lot of the time, UNTIL, it just so happens to hit on the very same day that you've got 20 dollars worth of credit and a 21 dollar charge comes in.
THEN what happens is, OTHER charges start bouncing because of that stupid 4 dollar "fee", and THEN, all of a sudden, your ATTENTION is on it.
And once your attention is on it, you start lookin' through all your OLD bills, to find out how many of these 4 dollar charges are on there... and suddenly you find there's a whole LOT of 'em..... see what I'm sayin'?
See, so, now that my attention is on it, I'm discoverin' that there's a WHOLE LOT of these little 4-dollar "mystery charges" that are bein' taken out against my Rights, and I mean, petitions and letters do NOT seem to help.
Nah, it's gonna take a little somethin' MORE than that, I'm afraid. These clowns don't seem to get the message with petitions and letters. They're too busy listening to their corporate paymasters, to listen to us.
Nah, I think, how this begins, is with people willing to make a nuisance out of themselves. And I mean, in practical terms, we are talking LEVERAGE. Petitions and letters are a waste of time.
Nah pal, anytime something like this happens, the Checks and Balances have to kick in. That's what has to happen here. Dude - you SEE what's happening, right? You think petitions and letters, are going to be effective against some clown who's out there claiming "immunity from war crimes"?
Nah, pal. Not at all. And then, we have the FURTHER situation, that the people that are supposed to be STOPPING stuff like that, on our behalf, are doin' NOTHING, except spending us blind. And in exchange for THAT, our idiot President approves all their spending - all the pork, all the corporate welfare, the whole nine yards.
The Court, has NO power over this. NONE! This, is up to the People.
I'm waitin' to see what kind of a clue these new clowns have, come January 20th. So far so good, but I mean, things are gonna get worse by then. Two things are true: one is, if they go down the wrong path on this, there's gonna be all hell to pay. The other: they better do something QUICK, 'cause we might not make it till January 20th at this rate. And we'll be lucky if a "turkey" is ALL we get for Thanksgiving this year!
