Thread: Right now on CSPAN1

Hearing about foreclosures. The hedge fund hearing on CSPAN3 is out to lunch. This one's more interesting anyway.

That's why we're having hearings.

See, here's what's gonna happen: and you KNOW this, right? -

The politicians, they ALWAYS try to pretend like they're doin' stuff, by "holding hearings". That makes it seems like they're doin' something, when really they're not.

HEARINGS, accomplish nothing except putting a little information out into the public domain. They don't address the PROBLEM. That part, comes in a whole SEPARATE piece of politics.

So now, as you say, the whole point here, is to get the LIGHT to shine on stuff like this.

And that is why I say, WE must drive this. You and me.

The other "entities" out there, they are MOST likely, to just "drop the ball". That would be human nature - and then it's back to "business as usual" in politics, and "business as usual" in the corporate world.

Nah - THIS, is our one and probably ONLY opportunity, to fix this thing, and if we drop the ball NOW, we're completely f*cked. There is a shot, RIGHT NOW, and if we take it, there is a CHANCE, that things will end up okay.

So, tool up people. That's my take. Let's get this show on the road.
