    so nothing happened, eh?

The Bush administration has committed war crimes in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay in its practice of torturing prisoners, according to the conclusions of a medical examination conducted by the organization Physicians for Human Rights."After years of disclosures by government investigations, media accounts, and reports from human rights organizations, there is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes," wrote retired Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba in the preface to the report. "The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account.
War On You: Bush Administration Committed War Crimes Against Prisoners, Reveals Physicians for Human Rights

This is what I've been saying too.

I reached the SAME conclusion, through independent means, using an entirely DIFFERENT analytical model.

    That means something.

Whenever two models, resonate that way, it means something.

I am not yet aware of any constraints on that resonance.

So, here's the sitch: we got not one, but TWO of the nation's top national security and intelligence officials, Gen. Hayden and Adm. McConnell, testifying UNDER OATH that Bushie ordered torture. We got doctors examining actual prisoners, who say YES they were tortured.

We have SITTING Senators and Congressmen, who, IF they were tortured, knew about it - because they were briefed! They're on the intelligence committees!

And we have FOUR sets of laws, that say torture is ENTIRELY and COMPLETELY illegal, in ALL circumstances, NO MATTER WHAT.

We have: local laws, like the cruelty to animal laws and so on, we have State laws, like the human bondage provisions and so on, we have federal law and the Constitution of the United States, which is self-evident, AND, we have MULTIPLE international treaties signed by 117 nations, including the United States.

    ALL of which, were violated.

And TWO sitting intelligence chiefs, AND the doctors, say there is ENOUGH evidence that this is so.

Now I ask you: are we going to bring these people to Justice?

I have no problem stating that the Bush administration offended me on so many levels, violated so many fundamental principles that most Americans hold dear, that I would relish the sight of any number of them made to answer for at least some of the ways that they hurt America and offended her soul.
