Obama Better Not Pardon Bush & Cheney

We Americans demand our pound of flesh. If President Obama were to ever pardon either of those 2 criminals, he would suffer the very same fate that Gerald Ford suffered when he pardoned Nixon. Loss of the Presidency just as soon as the next election arrives.
Let us have them both.....We want them bad!

Since neither Bush nor Cheney have committed any crimes, no pardon is required or desired.

Bush should confound history, and pardon Obama for all crimes and wrong-doings done before January 20, 2009.

I could prosecute them myself for multiple felonies they committed just in the firings of the U.S. Attys case alone. Then we get into The Patriot Act, Signing Statements , aiding Oil company's Price Fixing & Restraint of Trade....etc

    Oh...they're both felons alright.opcorn:

I think you should also go after Palin for allowing her husband to try and get a trooper fired. It's airtight!

This right here, shows me how completely bass-ackwards your politics is, FFA.

George W Bush and Dick Cheney, have committed CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

They even ADMITTED it! (or at least, George Bush did - Dick Cheney didn't actually say a word about it - maybe he's a little smarter than George).

FFA - read my lips now - CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

So like, don't sit there and spout bullshit in my face, like "no crime has been committed". That would be BULLSHIT, son.

You get those two assholes up in front of the Hague, and I'm almost POSITIVE at least one of 'em will HANG.

This is VERY serious stuff. son. CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

We have executed people for that.

And so have others - these are CRIMES that are SO bad, they are institutionalized in writing and by agreement among at least 117 nations!

We're talking about the overwhelming majority of ALL the people on God's green earth!!!

Nah, pal, if you can't see that a crime has been committed here, you are BLIND, son.

In that case, just step out the way, and let the gentlemen with EYESIGHT, do our thing.

George W Bush needs to be made an EXAMPLE of, so no future President of the United States, thinks he can get away with TORTURE, or take the concept so lightly as to come up with a quaint little euphemism for it ("enhanced interrogation techniques") just to make it seem PALATABLE.

That is EVIL shit, FFA. E-V-I-L. Period.

Is it CRIMINAL? You BET it is. You bet your LAST bottom f'in dollar, that it is CRIMINAL in nature, that kind of activity. Yes, sir.

Sorry, FFA. Bush co needs to be brought up on CHARGES. They have ABUSED their power, individually and collectively. They must be held ACCCOUNTABLE for their excesses. That's the way it works around here.

    You forgot the sarcasm smiley....

Seriously though, kmiller, this kinda "lack of prioritization" when it comes to political values, is exactly why the Neo-Cons are no longer in office.

The American People, won't STAND for that kinda stuff.

Troopergate.... no one cares! It's some piss-ant state trooper that got fired for "almost" legit reasons - that's something for some kinda State oversight board or something.

What we're talking about here, is CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY - misconduct that is SO serious, that ALL of humanity suffers a black eye because of it!

Pal, torture, is CRUEL and UNUSUAL punishment, and it is EXPLICITLY forbidden by the Constitution of the United States!!! There are INNUMERABLE local and state laws that say the EXACT SAME THING - you can't even torture an ANIMAL and get away with it, much less a human being!

And everyone ELSE in the world, agrees with our Founding Fathers - TORTURE is a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY, and it must be dealt with in the MOST serious of ways.

Dude, I am ASHAMED when crap like that occurs in MY name. It makes me ASHAMED to be a human being! It makes me ASHAMED that there are people out there, sufficiently devoid of morality, who are JUST LIKE ME!!!

Jesus H Christ - I am very sorry kmiller, but I will press on this point politically.

Torture is UNACCEPTABLE. It is a violation of the FIRST magnitude, of EVERY body of law known to man!!! Start with the Magna Carta, and move forward in history - better yet - go WAY back - start with the TEN COMMANDMENTS!!! Start with the OLD law, where "moral authority" came from God Himself!!! EVERY body of law says the SAME THING - you can NOT torture people. That is NOT an acceptable human activity.

George W Bush needs to be held accountable, and YOU the American People, need to catch a heads-up around this concept, 'cause it seems you have FORGOTTEN, that there are people like Hitler and Mussolini and Josef Stalin in this world. And it DOES NOT MATTER whether they are leftest, rightest, or what the f*ck they are - if they're out there torturing people, they are EVIL, and they're using their political beliefs as an EXCUSE to commit monstrous evil upon this earth.

You need to sober up, kmiller. Maybe a good strong bitch-slap right in the face, to get the mind-altering Kool-Aid to leave your system "just for a moment" - if you can get ONE moment of clarity around this, it's usually enough. Hopefully that'll happen BEFORE you're the one strapped onto the waterboarding table. Check.

In order to pardon someone that person must first be convicted of a crime. Bush hasn't, and won't.

Therefore no need for a pardon.
