All the Unconstitutional Executive Orders written are attached to the Office, not to the individual President. Those 800+ executive orders Bush wrote to give him dictorial powers and enough control to thumb his nose at the Senate and Congress, transfer over to Obama. Shoot, Executive Orders do not expire unless a President officially removes it. There are Executive Orders still in effect clean from the Hoover days.
I know we all hate Bush, because of the bad things he chose to do. The power that let him make these uncool choices now belongs to Obama.
The Patriot Act, Millitary Commissions Act, Real ID Act, and the really bad 'Kelo vs New London' Supreme Court Decision that should have been dismissed and thrown out, remain in effect. That also includes the NSA spying plus the little known Echelon program started by Bill Clinton.
Ok, the majority of American people voted for change. Let's just hope the so called cure isn't worse than the original disease. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I am asking all of you, Obama supporters or not, to weigh in the damage done by Bush in relation to destroying the Balance of Power on Capitol Hill. The Supreme Court was never intended or designed to legislate new laws from the bench, that is why we have seperately elected Legislators. Etc etc. Watch this closely, I advise big time. In as little as six months, we're going to find out if Obama will reverse these damaging, destructive to our liberty and due process laws that were forced upon us, or will he embrace them, bolster them and make sure the Oval Office reigns with an iron fist even more heavy hitting to the Constitution than Bush ever did.
Only time will tell the eventual outcome, let's just be prepared a little with our mindsets and hearts should Obama take the US Constitution out of the frying pan just to flick it into the fire.
