Yeah, this is one thing I've noted, that's actually pretty important in all of this:

Many people, did NOT understand, and STILL do not understand, the VISCERAL hatred that the concept of George W Bush instills in a lot of Americans.

I feel it myself - to the very CORE of my soul!

I HATE the privilege elitism and divisive politics that George W Bush brings to the table.

That makes my stomach TURN, and it leads my head IMMEDIATELY to thoughts of flashing red lights and REVOLUTION!

But it goes beyond that. Tick, I don't even know if you can understand this. I have a PERSONAL reason for despising the likes of George W Bush. The man threatened my children!

(Not "directly", and he wasn't standing there with a gun in his hand, but the fact of the matter is, that George W Bush threatened my children!)

And I mean, Devil may have his "personal" reasons too, for wantin' his "pound of flesh". I understand that. I understand it WELL. It resonates with my being too.

But the reason I would want a pound of flesh from the guy, would be to make an example out of him for the People of the United States - not for me personally. Me, I've already dealt with "my" little problem - my family is safe and secure, and George Bush ain't gettin' to 'em.

But I mean, you know.... if you've been hurt in some kinda OTHER way by George Bush and his idiotic policies (and there are MANY people like that)....

So yeah, I fully expect someone to go after him legally, the minute he leaves office. In fact, I rather look FORWARD to that! Should keep the likes of Rush Limbaugh busy for a while....

I agree, however rather than thoughts of revolution I have a nice vision of Bush being convicted for war crimes in the Hague and sentenced to death by hanging

Yes. If the machinery of Justice is actually WORKING, I'll go along with it every time. I'll be a peaceful little puppy, a warm-and-fuzzy, I'll come right up to you waggin' my tail, and snuggle and all that good stuff. Sit there while you pet me, whatever....

But man, when someone tries to STOP that machinery from working, which was what happened under George W Bush, then I turn into a f'in Doberman - MEANER than that - I turn into Ronin Tetsuro's avatar! A multi-headed hound from hell with dripping jaws and VERY sharp teeth!

George W Bush, thought he was ABOVE the law. He did NOT understand the meaning of "law". For him, it was something along the lines of a "corporate rule book". If you need to weasel around it, you hire a few smart lawyers to give you "legal basis", and then you go on your merry way. Those are WEASEL lawyers by the way, those are the same kinds of lawyers who chase ambulances. They are DEVOID of character. They would do ANYTHING to make a buck. They are SHYSTERS!

I mean, start here: SIMPLE stuff. Do you realize, that from day ONE of George W Bush's administration, he directed his Justice Department NOT to pursue certain crimes? There are over forty THOUSAND federal housing discrimination applications on file, over four THOUSAND of which were actually active and sitting on the AG's desk when Bushie took office - and not ONE of them has been pursued.

Instead, they were devoting attention to firing US Attorneys for POLITICAL reasons! Now I ask you - where is the Justice in that?

Ausinus - pal - I'm gonna spare you the long diatribe on the Constitutional stuff, 'cause you've heard it all before. But I'll just point out in "this" context, that there's no Justice in THAT either!

There was NO justice under George W Bush.

And I'm very sorry, but "no justice" is a call to action. Even ARMS, if necessary - if the violation or the situation is sufficiently severe or threatening.

No justice, no peace, my friend. That's how it works. That's how it was INTENDED to work too!!! That was 100% the INTENT of the Founding Fathers. They recognized this single truth above all: ultimately, it is the PEOPLE who guarantee Justice. You, and me. If WE don't do it, then NO ONE WILL!

You know, I mean, look here - under Bush, the very words and sentiment I just expressed, would probably have gotten me branded as a "terrorist". Do you understand the GROSS perversion of Justice that such a thing is?

That would be a FALSE MODEL, yes? A "bill of goods", as it were....

    Nah pal, I ain't a rabble-rouser.

What I am, is a man who takes his freedom VERY seriously.

And I would ordinarily add, "as should you", but that would make me a moralist, and I'm not about that.

But I mean, at some point, there is a NEED for the People to assert dominance and control, and when things go WELL, we do that by voting.

But when our votes result in things like the Bush administration, well....

All I can tell you is, that in my eyes, that was nothing more than an enormous abuse of power.

There is almost NOTHING good that came out of the last 8 years. I feel a WHOLE LOT less secure than I did 8 years ago. And I think anyone with a brain has kinda "gotten" that reality too.

Nah pal, the situation we're in right now, is SO dangerous, that all I can tell you is, I was ready to go to Washington. I mean, I'm not CRAZY, I wasn't gonna shoot no one, or nothin' like that - but I mean, I'm a very capable individual in many ways, and I would have FOUND some way to make myself a real pain in the ass to those people.

Really pal, I kid you not. And I mean, if it really CAME to that, then yes - I would be the guy planting the bomb at Hitler's feet. Absolutely. No question. I will absolutely take it upon MYSELF to remove evil like that from the planet, if necessary. And I mean, they can try me in a Court of Law if they want to, and I'll take whatever consequences they want to throw at me. If I have to give up my life for it, then I'll consider it as being offered in the service of humanity.

And once again - I'm wearin' this stuff on my sleeve, right? These are dangerous words.

But, this is the United States of America.

This is the land of free speech, free thought, free association, and the OPPORTUNITY to make a better life for ourselves and our children.

And, I am here to ENSURE, that it stays that way.

I will NOT stand by while the likes of George W Bush tries to DESTROY all those things in the name of some God-forsaken pipe dream.

Nah pal, this country, this is YOU and ME, and if we're not ready to stand our ground when the time comes, then all this means nothing.

Dude, I was just over in Hollywood, your boys are goin' wild over there! There's fistfights all over the place, the cops are kinda lettin' it go for now, they put up barricades along Santa Monica and they arrested a few people but nothin' serious so far. Not sure what's happening in San Francisco, I'm gonna call and find out shortly.

That's what I'm talkin' about, pal. Even the VOTE isn't enough sometimes!

But what am I tellin' YOU for, you know when it's time to stand your ground. I know a lot of people like you, trust me - people who know about "people". I'm even one of 'em, although I found out a "different" way. But yeah pal, there's such a thing as ... um... being able to simply "remove yourself" from a situation, but politics is not exactly that way. Politics is kinda the opposite. It's like, you know, you can move out of the neighborhood when the darkies start movin' in, but I mean, they just keep FOLLOWIN' you, know what I'm sayin'? They're all OVER the place.... :sarcasm:

I appreciate your peaceful message, Ausinus. I'm a peaceful guy too, really. I like to relax, throw a few shrimp on the barbie, invite the neighbors, watch the kids play, you know.... play a little music maybe....

I wanna be able to do that stuff NEXT year though, right? And the year after THAT - and like, right now, ... hm.... do you realize that the Great Depression lasted SEVEN years? SEVEN!!! Seven years with no food, bread and soup lines, not a bank loan in SIGHT, for a business or anything else - I mean, yeah, you can read about it. It wasn't pretty.

So, you know.... I "could" be interested in my "pound of flesh", but I'm not, really. If I know the guy who's in there NOW, is serious about FIXING all these things, instead of IGNORING them, then I'm okay with that, and I'll even help.

But I mean, if I got a guy who's ignoring all KINDS of threats while he's out doin the butt-nekkid emperor thing, well.... that's a problem. That's a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM, and I mean, we just got a LITTLE taste of how serious that kinda thing can be.

But dude, that is a CLEAR danger signal in my eyes. That's the kinda crap that makes me go check to make sure my rifle is functioning correctly, and I've got enough ammo lyin' around. That's VERY SERIOUS STUFF.

    'Kay. 'Nuff said.
