Thread: Who Hear Would Like To Be President of the U.S.?

Assuming you had to go through the usual things of climbing to higher positions of power within one of the two main parties over the course of a decade or more.

Who here would really want to be president?

I know I would.

Note, sorry I used the wrong "hear" in the title. I'm bad about that.

Hell no. The next fool in chief will take the blame for the crap that has happened. Things are on the brink of disaster, the "kick the can" policy of this regime will hit us hard, I would run as fast as I could from being president. Not only will the person be blamed, but the party as well. This is one reason that Obama will win, the dems are going down just like the neocons.

Not for me, the extent of my ambition would be to be the
Vice President. I am qualified and have no further ambitions than that so I would not be a threat to any President or any Presidents would be predecessor.

I tried to run a friend as Alderman in SLC, I was going to be the man behind the scene. As it worked out, he wanted to start a campaign for me, nu uh, no way.

I has the elected Coroner of my county for 16 years, 8 terms. I finally managed to get my Chief Deputy to run, in turn though I agreed to be his chief Deputy. Now he gets the 3 AM phone calls. I'm still trying to figure out how to get out of the Chief Deputy part.

I would. With the exception that I would prefer to do it out of the two party system. I am too much of a 'maverick' to buy into the partisan crap.
