Michael, I agree with you about the bigger banks consolidating the power, that's nothing new in the history of power. There's a new movie coming out with Clive Owen which I think you'll like called The International which basically exemplifies the power of the banking industry.

They do this as it is easier to destroy a hand full of banks than a thousand of them. It started when McCain and Bush clipped the savings and Loans and has expanded since. The middle class is under a military style attack, make no bones about it.
