    Obama's 30 Minute Ad.

Prior to this advertisment I still had some doubts about Obama, me being a former Hillary supporter and all. But watching tonight's advertisement changed my opinion of Obama somewhat. It was honestly quite inspiring; it laid out his policies neatly and in good order, and to me proved his command in the art of rhetoric. Most importantly of all it gave me a certain feeling of hope for the future, the kind that I feel when I listen to Doctor King's "I Have a Dream" speech, or Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal speech.

    Jus fyi bitches.

Well, wasn't that the intent? With a team of writers, editors and no money restraints did'nt you sort of expect to be exactly perfect in every way?

BTW - Even the MSM are criticizing the context and the policies and realizing that the numbers just don't add up. But then again, it's emo's like you who they were targetting anyway.

 Rhetoric is a skill that is not dependent on writers and editors, but on the speaker alone. Perhaps if you actually studied public speaking you might know that.

And since when does actually caring about the People and the fate of this Republic make you an emo?

Obama is a great speaker and very charming, there's obviously no doubt about that. He looks great in picture's and speaks in King's english. What could be more attractive.

    Speaking of the numbers.

How did Obama afford all this? I find it funny that McCain's own support of campaign finance laws and Obama's reversal on the subject resulted in a pre-emption of the pre-game show and a half hour bio-pic in prime time.

What happened to getting the money out of politics?

Not that I really mind. Money is speech as far as I am concerned. I just find it ironic.

No, do you remember the ad Perot bought? The man has more money than the Vatican, but he couldn't buy a new persona.

    Really

What were his specific proposals on Healthcare?

What programs did he promise to cut in order to cut spending?

What will my tax rate drop to from the current 15% bracket?

And what did some of the experts have to say

    "
Two leading infomercial stars agree: Barack Obama's half-hour self-promotion last night was a flop.
"I don't see enough smiling. Doom and gloom totally," said Anthony Sullivan, one of the biggest names in infomercial history.
"I feel depressed right now," added Sullivan, an Englishman famous for his infomercials touting the Swivel Sweeper and Smart Chopper. The only thing saving Obama, Sullivan said, was when the candidate appeared live at the end speaking at a rally in Florida.
"I think it needed it. I was about to throw myself through a window because it was depressing," Sullivan said.
He and AJ Khubani, who has produced infomercials for 25 years, said Obama also fell short of offering solutions to the dire problems he laid out.
"I didn't see a payoff. Classic infomercial is you show the before and you show the after. I didn't see the music or the crashing waves of the Pacific," Sullivan said.

He joked the producer "needs a spanking" for lacking optimism. "

Your tax bracket is 15% and you complain? Gee lets trade for a while, then you will not only complain but you may puke.

The rest of your post is great however. This guy is a whore who will say or do what it takes to woo the children voters. We are in for a fucked up ride.

Marginal rate, close to it. Thank you President Bush.

So what will the new rates be under Obama?
