I got this email from CLW-VETPAC today. I love it and think it's a great idea. I'm going to contribute, hope you do too...

Dear Friend,
We thought you might be interested in taking advantage of a great opportunity to amplify the voices of our troops and veterans while supporting the Obama campaign from our friends at An Obama Minute.
The Obama Minute project has volunteered a 40-foot video billboard in Times Square to salute military service and fire up our fight for the battleground states!
Participate and spread the word! Visit An Obama Minute, donate what you can to the Obama campaign there, and text @minute + message to 25622. Send your own message in support of your military heroes, Obama-Biden '08, or to motivate our campaign in the battleground states. Troops in theater can send messages from the website back to Times Square, and we can all watch on our computers from Iowa to Baghdad. And there is one really nice other way you can participate--send them pictures or video of veterans, military personnel and military families with a note that "It is ok to use this photo as part of the Times Square Obama Minute billboard." Send to info@anobamaminute.com. View the cool videos they've collected so far.
No one knows better than you how critical it is that we have responsible leadership in Washington. Barack Obama has the judgment for the job and has maintained unflappable support for our comrades in arms and loved ones - he calls it "a sacred trust." Let's put our support for him and our service members, veterans and their families on display for all to see! From now until Election Day, An Obama Minute; October 6, 2008; 10,000 people x $100 = $1,000,000 in one minute is our virtual town hall! Let's stay focused on the battleground states, throw our support behind Barack Obama, Joe Biden and all of the great progressive veterans who are running for Congress across the nation - the team that will bring back a cogent national security policy while taking care of our troops, veterans and their families.
An Obama Minute grew from one man's personal address list into a grass roots effort from coast to coast. Over 7,000 people have come together and given to the Obama for America campaign. An now we are turning to you, to salute service and join together in seeing to it that Barack Obama is our next President.
Participate and spread the word! Visit An Obama Minute website, donate what you can, text message the four story video billboard in times square and SPREAD THE WORD throughout your network.
The campaign is fighting hard, but now they need our help and our dollars to get out the vote in these final days! I know we've all given already, but the Obama Minute folks have provided a very expensive gift, and all they ask is that we donate now, whatever we can and no matter how small, to support our fight.
Yours,
Lorin Walker
Vice President
