Five days ago, Minnesota Republican Rep. Michelle Bachmann appeared on Hardball. While being interviewed by Chris Matthews, Bachmann called for the media to investigate those in congress, who she believes have anti American views. I won't go any further but I have provided a link for the video so you can make your own judgments.

After watching the interview, my question to the members of Ballot.com is as follows:

What in your opinion are anti American views?

Is Michelle Bachmann correct or is she wrong?

Sounds like a witch hunt. "Views" are just ideas. Actions are a different matter. I guess she's part of the "McCarthy got a bum rap" crowd.

Michelle, Michelle she is such an embarrassment. She just shot herself in the (pick your favorite politically fatal body part).

Not only did she make those ridiculous remarks, she made them in a year when she is up for election too. I saw on the news that the next day after making these remarks money and volunteers started coming in for her opponent.

The congresswoman indentified the very issues and concerns that I have been talking about for months. I have been concerned about Obama since he refused to place his hand over his heart during the national anthem In Iowa in the summer of 2007. That was way before Ayers, Wright, and the other kooks that Obama has as friends. The old saying that we are what we eat, just as accurate is that we are who we hang out with. If you think about who your freinds are, in general, They share common values and interests as the ones that you hold.

My opinion of what is ant-american, I will name one, That is Nancy Pelosi, in late summer when we were in dire straights with gas prices and people were wondering what they were going to do, she refused to allow a vote on a drilling package for immediate releif. She waited untill the conditions and wording were to the likeing and more in line with her leftist views and her major special interest group of radical enviromentalists. That is an anti-american view, because she placed leftist views and her donors ahead of what is good for the country. Pelosi is un-american.

Anti American Views is anything republicans do not find okay?

That's my guess.

I'm proud of democracy and America's past i am however not proud of our current foreign policy and laws.

Well Senator McCarthy, your opinion is just ignorant. The only thing which is "anti-american" is directly coming out and saying your are against America, or committing an ACTUAL act of treason. What Pelosi did does not qualify as "anti-American" - politics is about trying to influence events to your own persuasion and that of your constituents. Additionally refusing to allow the vote on the relief package has actually helped the common utility through helping to force America to wean itself off oil to some extent.

Michelle Bachmann is a scumbag Neo-Con, and she deserves to be voted OUT!
