Thread: Muslims for McCain Reject Protesters

I applauded McCain supporters for having the courage to confront these protesters who also backs McCain though I do have to admit that I've never seen muslims who supports McCain. In fact, this is the first time I've witnessed this and muslims who backs their republican candidate is a rarity.

(Oct. 20) - In a confrontation caught on video, three people outside a John McCain presidential rally in Woodbridge, Va., this past weekend handed out "Obama for Change" bumper stickers that featured the Communist hammer and sickle and the Islamic crescent on them.

One of the anti-Barack Obama protesters told McCain supporters that Islam teaches its followers to "deceive the infidels in order to progress Islam."

The man, who chose not to give his name, said Obama "is a socialist with Islamic background." When pushed to back up his claim, he said, "There's a lot of background ... I can't do that right now."

Several moderate McCain supporters, that included both Muslims and Christians, angrily denounced the group distributing the anti-Obama materials. A man who identified himself as a Muslim McCain delegate from the GOP convention even stepped in and said the campaign doesn't endorse this kind of message. Under pressure, the protesters eventually left the premises.

That's not proof that Obama is a communist.

Ayers is not a communist. Wright is not a communist. Rezko is not a communist.

Redistribution of wealth and socialized medicine are not communistic.

You've got to get your facts straight and stop making up lies.

Hmmm, lets see, they used them in Russa (USSR), Cuba, Eastern Europe, Venezuala, Communist one and all, and failures in one and all. And because Mike Moore says it is a good idea, for all those reasons and more, I want no part of Anything communist. Bill Ayers is a member of the communist party, communism was the motivation of the weathermen.

Ayers may have been an anarchist but he was never a communist. If you have proof that he was or is a communist, I'd appreciate you sharing it.

Great Britain, Canada and a variety of EU countries all have successful socialized medical care. Socialized medicine is not communistic.

You know what else they have used in the USSR, Cuba, Eastern Europe, and VenezuEla and by your logic are also communist in nature?

Water.
Potatoes.
Coffee.
Electricity.

Ok McCarthy, slow your roll there. Do you remember what happened to McCarthy? Lets see here:

The term "McCarthyism," coined in 1950 in reference to McCarthy's practices, was soon applied to similar anti-communist pursuits. Today the term is used more generally to describe demagogic, reckless, and unsubstantiated accusations, as well as public attacks on the character or patriotism of political opponents.

The Cold war is over. Obama has many issues that can easily be attacked on their merit but I suppose its easier to lay down blanket generalized statements that are, demagogic, reckless, and unsubstantiated accusations.

I bet it sucks hearing this from someone who doesn't even support Obama.
