NC could also do the trick for Obama although it's hard to imagine him losing VA and taking NC. However, the intelligence level is rising pretty rapidly in NC with the research triangle and that is also another possibility that could sink McCain should he lose it.

Why would I want to make the bet with you? I don't want to see you gone for 2 weeks immediately after the election. What point would I have in coming to PH if you were not here?

You just want to make the bet so that when you lose you don't have to hear about it for 2 weeks.

If that research triangle had only sprung up closer to the coast it's where I would be living. Albermarle or Pimlico Sounds area or even Beaufort to Wilmington are gorgeous. Not going inland ever again, I've done that before and it's like losing a family member.
