...but it couldn't be. the guy in the video is funny, personable, loose, articulate, confident, and coherent. hes sincere and generous, smart and modest. i don't know who the guy in the video is, but he should really get in touch with john mccain and help him out. he could do wonders for mccains image.

This often happens when people try and project an image of a person that they are not. Remember following losing the 1996 election when Bob Dole made the Letterman-Leno circuit and everyone was amazed at how relaxed, personable, and truly funny he was?

yea thats true. the daily show even made him a regualr during the last election, he was great. as was huckabee after he dropped out.

He did do well didn't he..This is the McCain I remember when he would go on the talk show circuit. It was why I originally liked him and why I enjoyed listening to Huckabee.

Even Obama did, but he wasn't quite as funny and looked strangely uncomfortable but I liked his joke about his middle name.

yea if this was a fourth debate, i'd say mccain won it, hands down.

and yes, "barack 'steve' obama, is very funny.

McCain was likeable, but then again I've never really had a problem with the man, just don't care for his policies. Obama was pretty ok, but I'd say McCain stole the show. For sure though, he got in some shots. Don't know how fair that was.

oh but so did obama, i think was obviously supposed to go that way. what mccain said at the end about obama was quite eloquent.

sparta said he wasn't sure how fair it was for mccain to take shots at obama. i said, OBAMA DID THE SAME THING. meaning: don't be hard on mccain, because obama took shots at mccain as well. meaning: I WAS DEFENDING MCCAIN.

and then i said, what MCCAIN said ABOUT obama was eloquent. it was a COMPLIMENT about MCCAIN.
