It’s another Palin crowd that got out of hand today at a huge rally in Scranton, PA. Lots of anti-Obama chants and booing from the crowd, but the most distressing moment came when an especially, er, “pumped-up� McCain-Palin fan went over the edge.

There were no incendiary outbursts from the crowd about Mr. Obama during Mrs. Palin’s speech, as there have been during other recent McCain-Palin rallies.

However, someone did shout out, “Kill him!� during Republican congressional candidate Chris Hackett’s remarks before Mrs. Palin took the stage.

The outburst came during a round of booing from the crowd after Mr. Hackett said Mr. Obama should come to Pennsylvania and learn what the state’s values are.

No, it is not at all "just as likely". It think the people doing this on either side are simply assholes, not dem or repub plants. The guy doing it in this instance is probably a racist jerk, it's not McCains fault. There have been some on the other side at Obama rallys as well and I doubt seriously they are repub plants.

They been campaigning hate bomb, bomb, bomb Iran! Osama this, Terrorist, Bill Ayers, They riled the base up and its expected. Only bigots are dumb enough to fall for it anyways.

Yeah - let's take it back to the good old days of 'Whites Only' toilets when being gay was illegal.

I believe "kill him" goes a bit beyond the realm of unpleasant. As a matter of fact you cannot incite or encourage the murder of another anywhere, much less the already charged environment of a political rally.
