i'm glad we agree on that, but this is why i said you have a paradox. you claim obama is the choice of the "angry, uninformed americans". yet republicans can't really run a campaing AGAINST intellectuals, while at the same time claim that obama supporters are "uninformed". or rather, you can't claim that. by definition, one can't be an intellectual AND uninformed.

now you could claim an intellectuals ideas and philosophies are wrong, or won't work, but thats not really the same thing as being uninformed.

Not all of Obama's supporters are uninformed. Many of them are, and fully support his Socialist policies... especially in the academia. Which is why I said, intelligent but not right. I used to love going head to head with college professors because I learned so much, especially when I'd get smacked down. They loved it because it generated on-topic discussion and demonstrated how everything we learned was connected, and they seemed to respect me even though they hated everything I believe (minus two professors who thought I was just a stupid Christian Randian nut. A contradiction on their part, but still, I could see given their extreme communist ideals, why they would hate what I believed).
