Pretty soon the tides will reverse, the government will own them along with much of the real estate in this country. They are buying stocks in the market, or will be once more citizens either lose all or sell, then they will use unlimited funds from the FR to do it.

There are too many things crashing and understating inflation in order to overstate GDP only goes so far before contact with reality is completely lost.

See thats a major part of the problem, the GDP is a thing of the past, and has been, the country is bankrupt, the government needs to hold on to power at all costs. This bill allows the Treasury Dept to bail out whom they want and when they want. You will see corporations go damn near belly up, the investors will take a beating, then by the grace of god the FR will purchase as investors stock, essentially buying the corporations for the government. Meanwhile the mortgages will be consumed, and now commercial property is being bought by the FR.

True but the dollar will collapse if that is attempted.

I kind of doubt that is even possible any more. The EU is breaking up further under the strain although the name will probably be retained. Other international bodies are also weakening because the real estate bubble hit most places in the world worse than it did here. Japan is still struggling with the aftereffects of 1990 and is quite likely to go down again, China, Russia and several other countries are seeing their bubble bust too. This is likely to get highly nasty.
