please watch this trailer and comment. i just saw it, and literally my mouth was open the whole time. what is this? who made this? who's behind this? my first reaction to seeing it was "bizarre". then it reminded me of the propaganda clips from the movie "starship troopers". its just odd because its so "go america!" yet also shows ALL sides of america.

thoughts? comments?

actually, i was more surprised it wasn't a right wing piece of garbage telling you how great it is to "join the military" and protect "freedom" and "spread democracy".

one of the stories appears to revolve around an immigrant who comes to this country and becomes succesful, a story which we all know only facist leftist pigs would support, right?

The desire to remain the richest and most powerful country in the world is a persuit based on vanity in denial...rationalized as Patriotism. IMO it inhibits the our redefinition of ourselves that needs to happen to adapt to a rapidly changing world.

The well meaning Conservative attempt to keep us in Leave it to Beaver land, and remain unbeatable in wars of attrition which no country can afford, doesn't address the fact that we need to become more of a team player in the world, not a bossy older Brother.

I got to say, Goldie, these partisan fools do not get it. Hell the left will protect us from the right, the right will save us from the left, yada yada, meanwhile both sides have teamed up to attack all of us. Yet many still do not see it, well they can blame who they want, it will soon become very apparent that the government's owners have no political affiliation, their loyalty is to themselves and when they are done, poof they will be gone off to do business somewhere else, leaving us holding the bag, and licking the boots of their goons.
