Thread: Homosexual Lifestlye: Choice or Not?

An interesting point from another thread. Is homosexuality a choice or a predisposition?

my mother was a kindergarten teacher for 14 years, she could spot the gay kids at 5 years old.

if you can explain an environment that would make a 5 year old "choose" to be gay, i'd like to hear it.

and no the kids did not have two gay dads.

This is not as black and white as Choice or Not IMO. I believe the answer is Both.

What's a bisexual if it cannot be a choice?

I've seen a few super-sized clitoris' in my day that showed a very strong similarity to a penis.....took the chub right out of my nub.

That's almost intolerant. Why can I not choose to be gay? What if I wasn't genetically gay in your common sense theory, and wanted some dick in my ass?

Wouldn't taking the dick actually be a homosexual experience I choose?

All of this rediculous intolerance makes me sick when these proponents of gay "being a choice" dehumanize God's children only to win measures and propositions against gay marriage. Or maybe they're fine with poorly disguised bigotry.

Defensor...I have an older brother who is gay. I also have a Sister who is the oldest and is a breeder like me. Before puberty, my Brother formed attachments to people much like my Sister did, and very unlike me and my male friends. By the time puberty did come, so did the suffering and depression that comes from identity crisis caused by a world full of nut sack dick holes that don't understand that being gay doesn't make you a lesser human or guilty of ANYTHING!.

Anyone who thinks gays look up at 12 years old and say...

1. "I want to be someone socially unacceptable"

2. "Then go against God's choice for my sexual instincts"

3. "Then begin to live a life of being torured and shamed by ignorant heterosexuals in thier varying states of intolerance up to and including homicidal intent."

4. "And I want to have trouble finding and keeping jobs because redneck dillrods fit for the KKK found out I'm gay at work"

5. "And I wanna have people give me seething looks of hatred and cover thier kid's eyes if I so much as touch my partner in public"

Sounds like fucking fun Defensor, doesn't it!!?? People who think being gay is a choice are so far from coherant compassion that they should be capped in the head so I can kick em' in the ditch. Why would anyone make that choice if thats what it is? Do you have any idea how difficult it is for gays to go from hiding it and wishing they weren't gay...to someone with strength and self esteem? let alone being proud of yourself. And don't you dare tell me one word about someone you know who prayed the gay away, or I'll puke all over you shoes and shit in your hat.

I said I was going to stop the rants, but this one really hit home.

All evidence that I have seen points being gay to genetic because whenever you hear any person say how they became gay they always say that they have always been that way.

I could go on a longer explenation, but I think other issues are more important for everyone's time.
