Thread: Senator Jim DeMint suggests China Payoff

I am currently listening to a live local interview of DeMint on the radio. He has suggested that this is a major propaganda fear tactic campaign to push this bailout through and he went on to suggest that China may be putting the screws to us and demanding a payoff. I do not know the ins and outs of such a demand but this is the first I have heard of this possibility.

on a similar note our other Senator is falling in with the fear mongers and calling for a quick vote to get it done.

DeMint says he has been burned by Paulson before and does not trust his judgement to control this money.

He went on to say that there are some Banks that are weak but there are many others who still are strong and can survive this mess without the bailout. He says the market will fill the void where these weaker institutions go down.Our State Banks are pretty strong. That is not to comment on other Banks in other States but here, SC, we have a good foundation of strong Banks.

Well shit damn, this makes sense, I want you to read this, according to wrong way Bourne there is nothing to it, but I argued to the contrary, and this adds credit to my argument.

I guess no one is really concerned about this.Or the fact that if passed this bailout will grant the Tres sec the right to give this money to whomever he chooses anywhere in the world. The whole we have to hurry and do this is the real give away that this is not a good idea. I do have to ask why , I am not saying to do this, why can't we bailout people. If we want to clear up a credit problem why not give the money to people to pay off some loans . How many Mortgages could be satisfied with this much money? Would that help?

This is actually the first thing I've heard that makes any sense. Everything else so far has been Bullshit.. We have to pay them Sometime, I guess Bush doesn't want everybody to know the War bill has come due..

maybe so , I have supported Pres Bush but this is one thing I cannot go along with.Who knows what will or is happening behind the scenes.
I think it shows that all or most are in on it or they are completely clueless.
